The Local Shopping REIT plc is a major owner of local retail property in the UK, listed on the London Stock Exchange. On 11th May 2007, shortly following admission, the Company elected to become a Real Estate Investment Trust ("REIT"). As a REIT the Company has a tax efficient corporate structure.

Our Investment Policy is to acquire local shops in urban and suburban areas, investing in neighbourhood and convenience properties throughout the U.K. Since its inception in January 2005, the Group has built up a portfolio with a valuation of £238million which it intends to grow.
